An exciting position has arisen at one of our partner North Manchester secondary schools for a Teacher of Geography starting in January 2020. This is a contract through to the end of the academic year at a school that will be recruiting for a permanent member of staff in September.
The school is "good" overall and has a positive reputation within the area. We are looking for a teacher who can engage and inspire pupils throughout their studies and help pupils to achieve great results in KS3 and KS4.
You will need to have a sound understanding of the current History syllabus and have recent experience teaching up to GCSE level; this is because you will need to be able to assess learners understanding of the subject and quickly facilitate their learning further.
You will also be expected to teach Geography to KS3, ensuring all pupils receive high quality, engaging lessons. You will be working in a team that share the schools ethos of believing, achieving and succeeding.
